We can all draw upon old school memories of lessons in a damp mobile classroom, when it was freezing cold in the winter and unbearably hot in the summer - neither of which were conducive to a positive learning environment. Introduced during the 1960's and 70's as a quick-fix solution to lack of classroom space, the `mobile' classrooms are still in use today and are poorly maintained and ever deteriorating.
