Great Dunham Primary School:

New Eco-classroom

Completed – March 2011

Great Dunham Primary School is a rural primary school severely lacking in teaching space. The school already had one existing mobile classroom but felt an eco-classroom would be a better investment in the future of the school compared to a standard mobile classroom.

The classroom is a standard eco-classroom design; a single storey timber framed, stand alone structure, constructed in just six weeks with reduced running costs compared to a traditional build classroom. Environmental credentials include an Air Source Heat Pump, sun-tubes to make full use of natural daylight and newspaper filled, super-insulated walls & roof.
